At this time, Gentle Horizons is a private pay service. However, we do assist clients in seeking reimbursement from primary health insurance and long-term care insurance when eligible. We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm coverage and reimbursement options

Yes, a doctor’s order is required for any nursing intervention or treatment a nurse will perform. However, a nurse assessment does not require a doctor’s authorization.

Yes, Gentle Horizons requires a minimum of 2 hours per visit. However, our scheduling is flexible and designed around your needs—whether you need a short visit, occasional check-ins, or ongoing care, we can accommodate you.

Shifts may be canceled with at least 12 hours’ notice. We kindly ask for advanced notice whenever possible so we can adjust staffing and continue providing reliable care for all of our clients.
